OK, by now and if you have not been living under a rock, when you enter the Internet, you will see a lot of sites with advertisement, a lot of pages ( including this one ) that has all around something that starts with this: "Ads by Goooooooogle" , those ads by Google are what AdSense is all about.


When you have a website or a page, sometimes, it's hard to really make some money out of it, ( actually, in that part of internet information I was clueless ) anyhow, with Google ads, you can profit from your site.


when you enter Google AdSense, ( you have to make an account, it's a simple process ) you are given some "AdSense code" that you can paste in your page.


after you do that you will see on your AdSense control center, the hits you get every day for displaying your ads, and every time someone ( OK someone not you, if you start clicking your own ads, those are called "invalid clicks" and automatically are not counted, but if you get a lot of those Google can close your account )


anyhow keeping the idea, on every click you earn money, depending on the price of the ad.


think of it as a stock market, let's say something important comes out and everybody wants to have advertisement regarding that "boom product", if that happens then the "Shares" for that advertisement, gain in value, so every click can cost even dollars ( yes, one click, you can make several dollars )


now Google is smart... ( hey they are ) and the "ads" that AdSense send to any page are triggered ads, for instance if your page talks about corn, it will place corn related ads.


that will ensure, that people get information on what they are looking for, and it will help you as a publisher, to get the most clicks, and for the company that pays for the ads, real potential clients.


so actually.. its a win-win-win situation.


now about the payment... Google will pay you when you reach 100us$ ( they will send you a check ) , depending on the quality of your site, the content, etc, you can make that in a few days ( really there are people making blogs and earning thousands every month ) or in other cases it can take a few months.


personally I have a few websites, some in Spanish ( Spanish ads do not pay up that much ) and some in English, I can tell you that every 3 months now I'm getting a nice 100+ check.


so it's real, you can make money out of Google AdSense, if you sign up, you have nothing to loose, and maybe, if you make some money out of it save it for Christmas and use it as a bonus ( I do that ) so go ahead give it a try !
