Article body:
With gasoline prices soaring higher than ever, most people are looking for new ways to save a few dollars and stay within their budget. The most obvious way to avoid going over budget is to use less gas. Carpooling is an excellent to save gas, but your schedule will undergo a major makeover. Start smaller. Plan at least two weeks worth of errands and try to do them all in one day: grocery shop, hit the library, and pick up the dry cleaning in one trip. Check with your bank about prepaid deposit envelopes and bill paying services online, they may be free! If not, mailing bills in advance will save you some “pain at the pump” later. If you have a flexible work schedule or rotating shift, check with your boss about working more hours per day and less days per week. Depending on how far you drive, you could save a lot of money. If you just think about your wallet every time you crank your ignition, you can find lots of ways to conserve gas and pinch a penny!
