What I see all the time on this wonderous place we call the Internet is millions of websites put together by amateurs that don't understand what makes a good website. They put their sites together working as hard as they can and are always missing something very much needed. Content, Layout, Organization, and Advertisement.

You can have the greatest layout in the world but if you don't have captivating words that bend and influence your readers to strike interest within them with writing you wont be successful. Another thing that most people fail to do is advertisement of their site. You need to join toplists and banner exchange programs to help spread the word of your existence. If you have enough advertisement you'll have tons of users coming to your website daily.

While on the topic of advertisement I wish to discuss revenue. Join affiliate programs such as Google Adsense where you place a small banner somewhere on your site that attracts the interest of your visitors causing them to click on them earning you money. Google Adsense always has pay per impressions. Meaning your visitors don't even have to click for you to earn money. Let's say, for every 1,000 times the banner shows you earn $25. Very useful if you have a website with many visitors coming by.

So our conclusion is this:
1. Build a website with a clean and organized layout.

2. Add content to your website that catches the interest of visitors causing them to continue visiting rather than leaving.

3. Advertise to let the existence of your site be known.

4. Add affiliate programs to earn a monthly income.
